Liling and Jess from PIEX Education conducted an informative coding and robotics Professional Development session for the Junior School staff. In 2019, my primary school had the team from PIEX Education to train our students. Our school did the PIEX Beginner STEM/STEAM coding and robotic course. PIEX's staff members Liling, Jessica, Toby and Gordon were patient when teaching our students and when explaining the activities. Research basis of the course
PIEX Education Australia is an innovative start-up company with its
foundations evidence-based research coming from Dr Wade-Leeuwen’s (2015)
doctoral thesis research into fostering creativity in teacher education at
Macquarie University. PIEX Education Australia continues their interest in
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths), with specific focus
on teaching digital technologies and robotics for primary aged children.
